Meet Dorothea

I’m Dorothea, Registered Associate Nutritionist (AfN) and a guide for families navigating the world of toddler feeding. I believe that mealtime should be a stress-free, joyful experience for every family, and my mission is to help parents like you feel confident and relaxed when it comes to feeding your little one.

I help parents of fussy eaters move from mealtime stress and endless food battles to calmer, happier family meals – using simple, evidence-based strategies that really work.

As a Registered Associate Nutritionist (AfN) with a background in Human Nutrition, I combine professional expertise with real-world parenting experience. I’m also a toddler mum myself – so I understand the messy and emotional side of feeding young children.

Through my Fuss Free Feeding approach, I support families to:

Why I Started This Work

I saw firsthand how overwhelming feeding young children can be – especially with all the conflicting advice out there.

Parents are often told what to feed, but rarely how to actually help toddlers feel safe, curious, and confident with food.

That’s where I come in. I created my Fuss-Free Feeding framework to give families the tools, confidence, and calm they need — without battles, bribing, or short-order cooking.

My mission is simple:
Helping you enjoy mealtimes again — and helping your child build a positive, lifelong relationship with food.

What Makes My Approach Different

Evidence-based and family-centred.

Focused on emotional well-being, not just nutrition.

Practical, gently and easy to apply in real life.

Small, consistent changes – not perfection – create the biggest and most sustainable changes.
